Hi Folks:
I'm working on a complete sample file to the Coding Standards section of
the Manual. One question. There's no mention of fold markers. You know,
the comments that help some editors distinguish blocks of code, like this:
// {{{ setFoo()
function setFoo()
{
}
// }}}
These aren't in the standard now, but they are widely used throughout
PEAR. My question to the members of pear-dev is "Should fold marks be
optional or required?"
People, please keep in mind, this is a SIMPLE question. It seems best to
handle this here via an informal vote. Please do not make this into a
long philisophical thread. Please just vote.
When voting, please delete all of the context and just write "optional" or
"required" in the body of your mesage.
Thanks,
