mmm, really? Is this something that should be left to the database to ultimately control? After all, looks like different DBs handle this differently.You answered yourself here, though. :)
And, I did spend the last 2 weeks trying to figure out why my code was not authenticating properly. And I did not find any mention of case-sensitivity being an issue that should be addressed within the DB and that Auth doesn't know nor does it care about it. I guess I feel it should be part of Auth to let the developer determine if case-sensitivity is an issue or not.I'm against adding this bloat to Auth because of a simple reason, which is, that YOU can decide if Auth is case-sensitive or not by administering your database in a smart and concious way.
