Hi,
I'm playing with PEAR DB layer under PHP 4.0.0.
It works fine, but only one thing isn't working :
php 4.0.0 doesn't uderstand a couple of constructions
in DB.php : "@$obj = & new $classname;".
Is it possible to replace these lines with
something like "@$tmpobj = new $classname; @$obj = & $tmpobj;" ?
Unfortunately I can't change hoster company and therefore can't
use newer version of PHP, but I want to use PEAR classes.
What is your opinion about compatibility PEAR with older versions of PHP?
What can you suggest me ?
