So let's get people started campaigning. According to the RFC, there will be a special voting procedure: Anyone who wants to can apply. Those who apply get put on a ballot at some time. Say give it one month for people to decide to run. At that point, there will be an election held, in which 7 positions will be open. That means that each dev will have 7 votes to distribute among the candidates at 1 vote per candidate (that is, they get to pick their favorite 7; not all 7 votes must be cast, however; this is not slashdot, no -1s). At the end of the voting period, which I'd suggest should be 1 week, just like usual proposals, with an extension of a week if less than 10 people vote (blank ballots included). I know the time frame is not covered in the RFC, and neither is the voter turnout. But I think what I've suggested is reasonable. Of course, it would be sad if only 10 people vote, and imho, it probably won't happen. KlausIn the Amsterdam meeting it was decided that pear-group elects the first members of PEAR QA. Later on PEAR QA will vote new members in/out themselves if necessary.Excuse me? Must've been another PEAR meeting, as I can't recall putting my vote on that one...
