Hi,
Why do you want to skip the replacement of the entities? It's a bit strange, as it is needed to create valid XML. StephanI would like to propose the attached patch for the XML_Util package that makes the calls to XML_Util::replaceEntities() in XML_Util::attributesToString() optional. Since the default behaviour preserves the old behaviour the change is backwards compatible.Looks valid and useful to me. Have you mailed the other Stephan (Schmidt) about this? Maybe it would be good to open a bug-report (read: enhancement-suggestion) for now.
