Looks good to me. I just have a few corrections / questions.
"explicitly excepted by the community" should probably be "explicitly accepted by the
community"
"and therefor the identifier" should probably be "and therefore the identifier"
or "" for non standard operating systems
What is "" exactly? You're saying some operating systems don't need a directory
seperator? Or is this an escaping issue which caused your \ to be removed?
