I'm living, working and studying in Germany. Currently I am writing my Bachelor Thesis and expect to finish this summer. I'm working with/on/for PEAR since one year how, maintaing several packages myself, helping others and being present on the mailinglists (general, dev, doc, cvs, QA and a bit core). The company I work for uses PEAR packages in their projects a lot, since they discovered all the benefits PEAR has to offer. For me PHP is both passion and profession :-) Apart from development I also work in the field of system administration and as an author for a few magazines (PHP Mag, c't, iX). Usually I follow emails/mailinglists the whole day, from getting up in the morning (when others have their newspaper) till late. Like Lukas, Klaus or Toby (and others), I've been on the QA list since the beginning because I believe it's essential forr the quality of PEAR and we really need more people working on/for QA. Though sometimes it's hard to decide case-by-case when/how rules should be enforced, I do believe that QA has already done quite well in the past and will further improve it's work. The QA team always tried to be fair, to take into consideration the consequences of decisions and to decide wise ... I think QA is doing a good job already, and I have trust in the QA work. Stefan
