This will help remove the severe need for documentation. pearweb is far too proprietary to be of use to non-pearweb channels, unfortunately. Both Pierre-Alain and I are working on just such a pear_server independently. He is focussing on sort of a pearweb2, while I am working on a minimal server to be used on another channel. When either code is approaching stability, it will be made available, with documentation. Thanks, GregThe largest change in this version is the use of the new package.getDownloadURL xml-rpc function from pearweb, which effectively obsoletes the download protocol. This will make setting up a pearweb server even simpler, as no mod_rewrite magic will be needed.BTW. Is there any documentation on what the channel has to answer to different xml-rpc requests? Browsing the pearweb source was quite confusing experience.
