True or not, it's importance is overblown. It's a contest that's supposed to test original work. Any contest has to have rules on reusing other pieces of code, especially those not written by the contestant. George
IMNSHO, using PEAR should be akin to using a PHP extension, like SimpleXML or MySQL. It is, after all, installed by default. - Davey p.s. That is my blog, in case people aren't aware.
