IIRC, this was disabled some time ago by MJ since it provided an easy way to get md5sum's of passwords. Ever since PEAR::Auth::PEAR has been broken.True.
If the pear-webmasters could add a new method that would return if a user/pass combination was valid, the PEAR::Auth::PEAR module could work once more and we can establish this link again :)We think about providing some XML_RPC Auth, but first HTTPS has to be in place.
