I didn't suggest getting rid of emulated destructors, they are obviously useful. I suggested getting rid of one specific _PEAR() method. Can you please look up the PEAR.php file at last?Of course, now we have _PEAR() method that is not used anywhere at all. ;]Actually I use it in MDB to clean up any open transactions.
