That's a really vague requirement (i.e. platform???) & one that depends a heck of a lot more on the database format (over which I have no control) than the class itself. But, if the performance of PHP disk/mem I/O is a reason to accept or reject a PEAR package then I hope you'll be pleased to learn that I can instantiate the class and perform 500 IP address lookups in 1 second (+/- 0.1). So, I guess that's a +1 from you; thanks in advance. :) Hans
