Seems a better solution to me, since removing decoding from Mail_Mime is out of discussion ... and adding encoding the functionality would be "complete". snAfter looking closer to the source, I see that Mail_MIME does not support uu decoding on MIME parts level, it just provides a method taking a string and extracting files from it. Would not it be better to implement uu decoding like it is done with base64 and quoted-printable ? This would require figuring out a way to return file permissions included in uu data. -- Andrey Demenev aka Blindman
