Some time ago I found a reference (maybe it was just a dream :) ) in the
manual that this syntax would overide the allow_call_time_pass_reference
setting and fore the variable to be passed by reference.
Unfortunatelly i cannot find it any more so i guess it might be
depricated or something (or just not documented).
