Do you mean one package or really only one class? The first is possible,
the second I would discourage in favor for a proper design.

How many of them are implemented with PHP and could be easily used on a
simple shared host webspace? ;)

Can you give some more detailed information what you imagine of. I said
it before, the parser will the foundation for all applications that
modify .pdf files and would like to see it as seperate package in PEAR.
All others can maybe summarized in a utility package.
