PEAR_Exception seems to be gaining in popularity.
I can't help thinking that maybe for PHP 5 we could have PEAR_Error extend
PEAR_Exception
or amybe PEAR_Error extends PHP5 Exception and then PEAR_Exception extends
PEAR_Error.
This would allow PEAR.php to go away while perhaps maintaing some BC with
PHP 4 apps.
The isError's would still work.
And eventually the PHP 4 app would migrate to PHP 5 using PEAR_Exceptions.
Just a thought and probably not a very good one.
