I definitely would prefer one mail with information on all of my packages, as I'm currently lead on 12 packages and reading up to 12 mails with only one bug in each mail can get tiring...

And the reminder system would only notify bugs. Do we add a new category "documentation bug", as the developer is not always the one who's writing docs?

Like people have talked about, once a week is to short, this is no problem to configure, so once per month would be enough I'd think. Once per month is fine by me.
