1. One or two weeks in summer times (or even not) is nothing :)
2. Your RFC in itself is good, the principle to make the exceptions
usage a rule is bad
You asked me about examples, only one got quickly in mind, the 1st
attempt of tidy ext to use them, it was nothing else than a pain to
use it, so I have to say that we do not have to force exceptions
usages, it's a design decision.
