Very true. Mixed 4/5 environments introduce the drag of checking errors two different ways. PHP4 packages report errors using PEAR_Error(Stack) and PHP5 packages report using PEAR_Exception. The same error never has to be tested twice. The drag is that the developer must remember if he's using a PHP4 or a PHP5 package on a given call. Cheers, Sérgio
