Status of DB_Pager

I've been using DB_Pager in a couple projects recently, and included a quick tutorial and some sample code in my latest PHPBarnstormer column [1], only to discover, while chatting with Lucas, that the package has been deprecated in favor of Pager (which I was blissfully unaware of). I realize that this topic has come up before on the lists, and IIRC the subject was never settled, but I wonder if until we get a good solution, we could just put a nice big notice both on the PEAR package homepage and in the documentation that the package has been deprecated. Thanks! Aaron
