Comment:
The W3C DOM spec basically treats a page as composed of hundreds of tiny
objects, so I don't think the model is far off.
I do question the usefulness of this, though. It seems to me that most of
this stuff is covered by PHP's DOM extension, and what isn't could be
added to it.
