Paul Jones (http://pear.php.net/user/pmjones) has edited the proposal for Yawp::Yawp2. Change comment: Have updated with information about Yawp2, which is significantly more extensible and customizable. Please read the new proposal text and view the new code sources; I am eager to hear comments, espcially those relating to Yawp being a possible candidate as an official PEAR "framework" of sorts (although it is more of an object aggregator and encapsulator than a framework proper). Please review the proposal: http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=37IMHO a feature that i'm looking for in a framework is a good mapping beetween requests and objects. HTML_FlexyFramework does it well. The good point in yawp2 is that you can access encapsulated object and manipulate them without learning a new api (I like the concept of plugin, it lets me free). for the moment html_flexyframework let me set up a new app with less work (flexy, db_dataobject, url to object mapping... already available). Perhaps lacks of log, var_dump... plugins. I would love to find a frmwk that provides the best of the two worlds !! A pear "glue" for desired packages in a foundation framework is a real need from my point of view. didier
