From what I can tell only a certain set of extensions are allowed. Lets say I have an application that needs to read in specially formatted text files which are identified by the .scott extension. With the way things are set up now, how can I make sure that only .scott files are accepted? Yes, I exactly mean that.
Gtk_FileDrop::attach($entry, array('.scott')); the file will be rejected because your switch statement in getMimeType() will return false. Am I missing something? Did you try it?
