About Net_Curl package

Hi, Couple of remarks regarding the Net_Curl package (1.0.1 beta): - All the CURL properties are set as class members. Currently there is only a subset of properties in the package. IMHO this is not a good approach given the rather larger number of properties. Only a very limited of them are currently implemented in the package, - All the properties are reset everytime for each "execute" call adding possible significant overhead for network intensive application, - The package relies on the PHP extension only, i.e. no support of command line CURL... I propose to use a factory method to use either backend. - Does anybody know if PHP 5.x will have a OOP interface to Curl library...? - Finally, will there be some collaborative work around this package and HTTP_Request? I once wrote a similar package a "long" time ago, it's not top but if that can help... I just want to migrate my application to using PEAR packages instead, and at the same time improving the later.
