Special request from me: Please look at existing unit tests before asking questions, many of them can be answered by a quick study of these tests. pear-core/tests/ has about 300 or more in there. pear/DB/tests has several .phpt tests If you look, you can find a gazillion examples of how PEAR uses the .phpt idea.
