It does support polynomials, i.e. :
1/2( x(x + 4) - 6x^2 + 8y - 7/8x + 3y^2 + 7/12x + 3x + y) + x^2
returns :
161/48x + -3/2x^2 + 9/2y + 3/2y^2
There is also an option to return formatted powers as superscripts, but I couldn't paste it here.

Louis Mullie

The features would be : * Simplify an algebraic chain (already implemented, support for fractions, parentheses, powers, etc. is there) * Resolve first-degree one variable equations (under development) * Calculate simple algebraic division and multiplications (additions & substractions go in *1) (i.e, 6ab * 10ab = 60a^2b^2) (already implemented too) * Results returned as objects which have an API for returning the result either as HTML or as plain text (already implemented)Great, I needed this package, specially for the equations computation! Is it support polynomial? e.g: x^2 + 4x + 1 I wait for that :-D Regards, -- Firman
