Hi!
Does Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer 0.8 supports UTF8 output?
I don't find anything about this in the documentation, but the bugreport
http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=2159
tells something about UTF8.
If I write for example "Tomáš" in a cell the 'output' is "Tomáš". I open the generated xls-File with OpenOffice 1.1.4 - is there actually a difference to Excel which could be the problem?
Is there a possibility to set the character or something else?
What is the sense of the following codelines (see section "Reproduce code" on http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=2159)
$workbook->_codepage = '65001';
$workbook->SetVersion(8);
