Stoyan Stefanov (http://pear.php.net/user/stoyan) has commented on the proposal for Web
Services::Services_Safari.
Comment:
Martin: Thanks, I'll look into this.
Ian:Yes, that is a bit of a concern. I was thinking that the naming
convention of the PEAR services-related packages should be probably
revised.
It seems to me that the number of such packages is increasing steadily and
can become harder to manage.
My idea was to use the service provider name in the package name.
Like: Web_Services::Service_Provider_ServiceName
In my case the Safari service is provided by O'Reilly, so a better
name would be: Web_Services::Services_Oreilly_Safari
Same goes for the Google packages for example. Currently there is one
approved and one proposed Google packages. Using a common prefix will
probably make it easier to grasp what a package is about.
