bertrand Gugger (http://pear.php.net/user/toggg) has edited the proposal for
Benchmarking::Benchmark_RUM.
Change comment:
Several experiments have led to a totaly different mechanism:
the monitor is now in a separated process,
the watched script(s) only send(^s) snapshots via a socket.
Package is now named Benchmark_Resources as acronyms don't serve.
Memory usage and microtime are now available within the snapshots, not
only the
getrusage() classicals.
Industrialization tools using tokenizer and FSM are under development.
I have to say, alone on a package is unlikely.
Not only for me :) , but for the package's aperture and resistance.
So, I would welcome any of you, if you feel interested.
Of value would be someone (and/or):
- in other third of TZ (america, asia)
- good handling windows technology (to adapt what can be adapted)
- young :)
