Pablo Fischer (http://pear.php.net/user/pfischer) has commented on the proposal for File Formats::Archive_Ar. Comment: I talked with Vincent (lead of File_Archive). I'll try to move Archive_Ar to File_Archive, I just need to do some tests with the write/reader stuff it uses. I'll try to test it next week, this week I'm busy (some tests).
