Scott Mattocks (http://pear.php.net/user/scottmattocks) has commented on the proposal for
PEAR::PEAR_PackageFile2Manager.
Comment:
Would it be possible to add an addComment() method? This method would add a
user defined XML comment at the top of the document. It would come in handy
for adding things like:
<!-- This file was created using PEAR_PackageFile2Manager. If you think
something was generated incorrectly please report a bug to
pear.php.net/... -->
or something else that a developer may want to prepend to the package
file.
