Orphanes can be usefull, but not always a requirement. Some proposal can be only deleted, put them as orphans will not help. For the current proposals, leaving them as now for a given time frame (let say one month or so) is easier.
Toby's main concern is that its not appearent for reviewers which proposals are orphaned and which are not. To me this is especially important for thing that are in proposal stage. Its a non issue for drafts since they are not really ready for review anyways. regards, Lukas
