Ian Eure (http://pear.php.net/user/ieure) has commented on the proposal for HTML::HTML_Tag.
Comment:
This could easily be layered on top of HTML_Common or implemented as a
patch to it.
It looks like the only unique thing it does is optionally use the XML
short-close tag format.
Also, has_endtag is useless - if there's content, there should be an end
tag.
