This is precisely why there's the textFields option. Putting these fields in that array will cause them to be textareas. I don't think that textareas were set as blobs in the past, but I'm not absolutely sure. If this is, indeed, 100% reproducible we could also add that check.
It is 100% reproducible for us. The fields in our case have the type ID 194 in our schema files which are the following bits: 2 - DB_DATAOBJECT_STR 64 - DB_DATAOBJECT_BLOB 128 - DB_DATAOBJECT_NOTNULL thanks, - Markus
