Hi all, I make a draft proposal for HTML_QuickForm_Livesearch. You can see the description here: http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=308 It's for me very useful to read comment and advices about it to make it better.
Looks like a very useful element for QuickForm. Did you test with more than one Livesearch element on the same form ? What if there are more than one QuickForm on the same page, will it work ? So far, I tested it in Safari and Camino browsers and your examples works fine. Doesn't work in IE5 Mac but that's normal as required features are missing. It would also be nice to have a degrade version in case the browser doesn't support the javascript ? Thanks for the good work :) Bertrand Mansion Mamasam

Yes, it work with more than one liveseach box in a single form. I just update the online example. You can put more than one form, each form with more than one livesearch box. The only features that have problem is the "disable" submit button. If a user is using only keyboard, must press the return button to make selection. The script disable it when you are make the selction....but when you have more than one form theare are some problem..the submit in this manner have all the same Id. I have to work around with javascript :)

This package can do the work thanks to javascript code, using XMLHTTPRequest, so it's difficult think without ;) bye Giuseppe Dessi
