[PEPr] Comment on Web Services::XML_RPC_Simple

Sérgio Carvalho (http://pear.php.net/user/sergiosgc) has commented on the proposal for Web Services::XML_RPC_Simple. Comment: If XML_RPC_Simple is PHP5 only, and assuming there are no more speedbumps putting XML_RPC2 on the repository, I really see no need for XML_RPC_Simple. This package implements an external interface similar to XML_RPC2, but built on top of XML_RPC1. XML_RPC1 is quite messy, and troublesome to maintain. It's a shaky foundation to build upon. Having said this, I welcome help in maintaining/developing XML_RPC2. You naturally know XML-RPC quite well, your code looks very good, so if you are interested, get in touch with me.
