Furthermore, the CDATA thing is a limitation of the SAX based parsers. I will be doing no more work on XML_Tree, theres too many issues with it, regarding BC breaks, version numbers, grandafathering it in with new policies, etc, etc, that just make it too much hassle with so little use for it with PHP 5 now out and in wide-spread use. - DaveyHi! I'm trying to parse, change and save XML Files like this: -------------------------- XML_Tree needs some work and a new maintainer basically. Arnaud.some cdata goes here ... <anothertag>simple data here...</anothertag> -------------------------- When I altered and save the file, the CDATA-mark is lost. Of course I can change the node's use_cdata_section by hand (after parsing the input file) - but I have to do this for every node which originally had a CDATA-mark and there is no proof, that the content is parsed correctly. Basically I want to read the file, alter some tags and write the file back to disk without any other changes I didn't explict request ;-) Is there any solution for this problem?
