I Assume that PHP5 is available for a lot of people, but for the time being still "new" ... :-( I'm in favour of Davey's proposal or at least mark the package as not maitanined and state the reason why, i.e. due to the enhancements PHP5 offers. -- StefanoAs the lead maintainer of the package I have this to say: XML_Tree should be deprecated, it has no use in PHP 5. Furthermore, the CDATA thing is a limitation of the SAX based parsers. I will be doing no more work on XML_Tree, theres too many issues with it, regarding BC breaks, version numbers, grandafathering it in with new policies, etc, etc, that just make it too much hassle with so little use for it with PHP 5 now out and in wide-spread use. - DaveyPHP5 is not yet in wide-spread use :) THe history of the package makes it really difficult to fix in any way. What do the rest of the list think about this ? Arnaud.
