PEAR package proposal

I'd like to propose a new package for pear. It's based on the PEAR Pager idea, only instead of \"paging\" data, it should take an input, and return an alfabetical result. Pear pager would return something similar to \"<< Back 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Next >> \" My idea is returning something that looks like this: \"<< Back A B C D E F G Next >> \" It should also have a possibility to group by several alfabetical characters like \"<< Back A-B C-D Next >>\", etc...
