Is that new for package2.xml / PEAR 1.4?
Yes it is, and is not implemented in package.xml (BC reasons) In fact, there are 2 major changes to behavior in package2.xml that all developers need to know about: 1) package-info replacements are performed at packaging time How does this work for @data_dir@ type replacements?
