PHP_Parser and AST

William Candillon wrote an AST framework for PHP based upon PHP_Parser. It can parse PHP code into an AST and serialize that AST (after one has transformed, which is the point :) back to PHP sourcecode. The AST framework is currently bundled with PHPAspect [1], but William is okay with unbundling it and making it a PEAR package. I would really love to see this go into PEAR. Unfortunately, neither William nor I have currently the time to work on this. Are there any volunteers?
