If you mean soapphpclient and phpsoapserver from victor and steven at Giga Ideas, the version available on SourceForge is not the last one they've done, so you should go their web site : http://www.gigaideas.com.cn/phpsoap/
Yes that's the one. I downloaded it from the gigaideas web site.
It's mainly an extension of Edd Dumbill's XML-RPC library, and it works very well.
I'm sure it does but.. I could not figure out how to pass in variable names (not just values) and it offered no https support (I am working on it right now!).
I have rewritten a substantial portion of it as a series of objects. Great, where can we find it ?
Coming up! Everything is done except the response object. That does not mean everything is working perfect though no serious testing has been done. I am still working on https delivery using CURL.
I'm in contact with Steven since a few days and have already given him some corrections for phpSOAP. This project is the only one I have found, and it works well, so why trying to begin another one instead of improving it ?
The two reasons I listed above and I found it hard to work on because it relies so much on global variables. I am not critising them it's just not my style. Also I like to name my variables with more descriptive names and I also reworked the API a bit to make more sense to me. I Guess it's personal style to some extent. I wanted something that anybody in my office could pick up and understand easily.
Is anybody interested in working on a SOAP project? Yes, I'm really interested. Send me your files and a documentation or examples so that I try it and give you some feedback.
So far no docs but I have the classes and an example. I'll post it here as an attachment. :wq Tim Uckun
