Nested configurations

Hello, Searching some tool to isolate configuration from code. One goal is to present nicely the possibilities (comments as in any configuration file). Right handled, there could also give some security considerations. I love the .ini way. That's just not enough. A configuration is not only linear. parse_ini_file() gives you , roughly, only 2 dimensions and only scalars as values. I know I should further look in PEAR::Config ... (I don't want all formats in there and I'm reluctant to augment dependencies) One target, as an example, is to make Text_Wiki configuration easier. I did a try in the Text_Wiki_BBCode clone to HTML_BBCodeParser http://cvs.php.net/viewcvs.cgi/pear/Text_Wiki/doc/ the *BBCodeParser* stuff the way the ini is parsed ... I know, it's hacked ! I wanted nested confs and array values ! What should I do to get it more general ? -- toggg
