Hi,
I would like to offer my users to be able to use aliases for their login
handle, e.g. email adress or customer id. So.. is there a chance for a
feature request..? ;-)
Or should I use the 'auth_user_id login feature' and implement my own
login method?
Anyways, it would also be great to have a separate password verification.
Hm.. I guess I should subclass/modify the auth container
(readUserData()). This would be a nice place to add handle aliasing,
e.g. SQL this way:
"...WHERE (handle=$handle OR $alias1=$handle ...) AND passwd=$passwd"
It would be very useful to have a reliable handle aliasing. One could
simple provide this feature by a simple config option in the storage
container configuration, e.g. this way:
'login_handle_alias' = 'email,auth_user_id'
Regards,
Matthias
