Looks like 7 calendar days make 8 days , I guess it's counting from midnight to midnight... Anyway, the "Extended call for votes" announcement displays a wrong date ... e.g. for yours it gave:
PEPr has automatically extended the voting time on XML::Query2XML until 2006-04-14 12:47 UTC because there were not enough votes, yet.
