Evert Pot (http://pear.php.net/user/evert) has commented on the proposal for Web Services::SabreAMF. Comment: thanks for your reply, I will fix all the coding-standards problems.. AMF is a binary webservice protocol and its used by Macromedia Flash and Flash Communication Server. Its the main communication protocol between coldfusion and flash. 1. SabreAMF is just a branding.. Should it be Net_AMF or Services_AMF then.. 3. These constants are shared between multiple classes, while there's no baseclass between the two.. Global constants seems like a bad idea because i dont want to polute the global scope.. so if another class is no option, whats left? 4. where can i find this? 6. DT means data-type, ET is encoding type.. This is only used internally 9. AMF3 is the new version of the protocol (flashplayer 9, should be available this summer), but its wrapped in an AMF0 packet.. To let the AMF0 serializer know the data has to be serialized as AMF3, I needed a class.. 13. right now the package doesnt go that far, but using the existing API it can be implemented (right now its just a library, the server/client components are just helpers). I can supply multiple server-classes with different API's Proposal information: http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=348 -- Sent by PEPr, the automatic proposal system at http://pear.php.net
