This is a new feature that means users no longer need to worry about the
constant problem of the "no write access to compiled templates
directory" error that has plagued us on unix ever since the introduction
of Smarty into phpDocumentor.
It also significantly reduces the size of the thing, as none of the
compiled templates need be distributed with phpDocumentor any longer.
