Depending on the platform and interface used (CLI, some sapi etc), the php.ini will be searched in differnt places. regards, Lukas

I know that Lukas, but is it normal to do such thing to give ability to run unit tests (.phpt) ? I don't remember what previous PEAR version i run (probably 1.4.6, but i i'm not 100% sure), but it was without doing such manipulation. Thanks for your feedback Laurent
