Hi,
is there a way to refresh the 'propertyValues' of a user?
I didn't found it..
I think we need a
reloadUserData()
method (without any parameters) which refreshes the propertyValues if (and only if) a user is logged in.
This helps solving this point on the roadmap: "provide some mechanism to automatically make sure the user still exists (is still active) on every request"
But there is another reason why such a reload() is required:
Imagine, a user is logged in and an administrator modifies data of the user. After that the user wants to view/modify his data, too. What data does he actually see?
At this point we don't have a possibility to refresh data of a loggedIn user, right?
Maybe this should be implemented using a 'pseudo trigger': e.g. another table for 'tasks'. Thus we could use LU / LU_Admin? to 'force_reload_user_data'.
This will also be useful later if caching is implemented..
Ahm.. I will have time after my semester examn in about 4 weeks to contribute.. ;-)
Regards,
Matthias
