Can there be a policy that if you comment on a post that you don't delete the rest of the comment, what you have deleted makes my comment seem out of context and indeed a bit harsh.
I went on to explain in that post and subsequent posts what the reason of saying this was.
I would also count PEAR as a product - it is a lot of packages that if used correctly together can basically be called a Framework, excuse my naivety but there doesn't seem a massive difference.
